you meet the nicest people at an auction sale!

You know the saying...you meet the nicest people at...fill in the blank. Well, I actually did meet someone at a farm auction that I had a lot in common with, because we kept bidding on the same items. Now who would want that rusty ole thing? Another primitive antique lover, that's who. Her name is Alice, and what caught my attention was that she was with her sister. Those of you that know me, know that I love meeting my sister to rummage for junk! And there they were, two sisters rummaging for junk. I especially loved when the sister came up to Alice and said..."I just used your number to buy an outhouse!" That would be something my sister would do for me. Turns out Alice has a farm, stuffed with the things she and her sister find at auction sales. She's very creative and has weekend sales, much like I do. You should really check it out. You might even get food at her place! I think you'll agree, Alice is a gem.
