march open

Checkered Past Antiques -- I'm open today! Saturday, March 7th from 10 am to 5ish...It's a nice sunny day, perfect for a drive out to the country to hunt for primitives and special little things to add to your collection. I'm in the mood to think spring and have some fun pieces that shout spring!
So, what's new? I've been working on more grungie fabric eggs, and little chicks with those adorable rusty pin wings. And check out my little Easter baskets to hang on your Easter Tree. Aren't they adorable? And of course, I have grungie bunnies and painted eggs, just perfect as bowl fillers.
I've also been tromping through the woods, and although the pussy willows have begun to open, I'm thinking they'll be perfect by next week. I've cut dogwoods and other lovely stick bouquets, perfect to make your Easter tree. I plan to cut the pussy willows next week and will bring them to Up North General Store in Deer River. You can also find all my Easter goodies, and spring color primitive antiques, there as well! (Plus they have chocolate!!).
