Silent Nights......twinkly stars.....blustery wind hitting your face. All waiting for the morning when deer hunters will silently enter the woods to sit in their stands, and women will plan their day of shopping. It's that time of year in the northland where the mood is lifted by all. The colors are a combination of blaze orange and Christmas Red. Men spend money on guns and ammo and women spend money on handmade gift and antique items. My shop has been made merry, complete with fresh greens from the woods and decorated Christmas trees. My new angels stand waiting to usher in the silent nights. Packaged boquets and gifts from the woods are a delight to see. Skiis and sleds are awaiting a new porch to sit on and did I mention all the handmade ornies I've been working on? Including little wire fences to surround the little saltbox houses I've painted. Hope to see you on November 8th at my "Gathering of Angels". Three locations....my homeplace, the craft show at the Sawmill (we're in the back room in the corner...) and at Akasha Art & Antiques. Happy Hunting!
