I've said it before..."crispy weather induces nesting tendencies."
I haven't made any dolls all summer, and then as soon as the
temperatures dipped below 50 degrees, I was digging through my bins of dress, and cutting out bodies. Fall is like my little gal in the yellow dress...Ms. Dee Light, Angel of Enlightenment...there's something about crispy weather that clears out the cob webs in my brain, a clearing to see further into the future. Summer is totally about living in the moment...cramming as many activities as you possibly can into 3 months. Now, is a time for planning, reorganizing,
reprioritizing,
yadda,
yadda,
yadda...

I expecially see a change in the menfolk in our area. All of a sudden the stores are filled with deer stands, aisles of ammunition, and every hunting gadget known to man. Men are starting to tromp through the woods, searching for that ultimate spot to sit and scope out their prey. That is what this little angel is all about. I happened to have this little dress that looked like a hunting theme. So in keeping with the theme, she became Ms. Dee Bone, Angel of Hunters!

Don't jump to conclusions...I do not participate in any type of activity that has to do with bones. I stay clear, in fact I avoid it! Just as this little angel, Ms. Dee Nial, Angel of Avoidance! In fact, the best way to avoid hunting of all forms is to just shop! Gather your girl friends and plan a trip around Grand Rapids to shop at all the bazaars! My shop here at the home place will be open the first TWO saturday's in November... November 1 and 8.
Of course, we've still got October....I'm open for my famous October Birthday Sale on Saturday October 4th. I'm sure my scarecrow family will appear sometime soon, as soon as the pumpkins are ripe! Happy Fall!
